After a while...

We meet again since I did not write anything for the past one week. I got lots of work to be done. After 5 pm I was busy painting the wall at my home. It’s almost finish hopefully by today. So, tomorrow we can put up our Christmas tree. The Christmas Carol will be on Sunday 27th November. Unfortunately, I will not be around that day. I have to attend a 15 days course organize by our department in Kuching.

I plan to take only 4 days leave for this coming Christmas. It starts on 27 till 30th Dec 2005. Rin and I will celebrate Christmas here and celebrate the New Year countdown at Kuching.

Last weekend Rin and I went to Kuching to visit her parent. We celebrated Rin’s birthday there. I bought a cake and a card for her. She’s 28 this year! By the way, I will organize another party for her this Friday, a surprise birthday party for her.

To Sarikei

We meet again after two days break. We went to Sarikei last Saturday. I drove the car. The whether was fine, luckily coz I was standby on that day. But I still switch on my hand phone.

We reached Sarikei around 1 pm. We went to Sugarbun for lunch. My wife and I eat nasi lemak with satay. Ehmm…not bad. My brother biasalah..makan ayam goreng. Juju, she was playing with her new friends at the playground.

Actually, the purpose of going to Sarikei was to help my brother to buy some of Marygold drinks. He joins the contest and needed lots of that drinks as a point to be the winner. One carton will bear 100 points I think. I was helping him to pay 12 cartons which cost him about RM60.00. And he pays for another 15 cartons.

We went home and reach our house around 4 pm. I was so tire and went to bed. I woke up around 6.30 pm. The project cannot be done due to time constraint.

Later that nite, me and my wife watch vcd. The movie Zorro the legend is not bad. They still use the song I want to spend my life time loving you as a theme song. I love the song very much.

I woke up a bit early on Sunday morning. We didn’t go to church that morning. I told myself that I must continue with my project no matter what. We started around 11 am up to 6.30 pm. It almost finishes now, 80% done.

That day, Rin cook fried rice. It was great. In the evening she cooks for us mee segera. I was so tired. Kesian Rin, I didn’t give so much attention to her. I was so busy. She got flu but not that bad.

To Sri Aman

I woke up early coz today we got some kind of seminar at Sri Aman. It’s all about quality. I went there with one of my clerk and also one officer.

Meet some of friends there and my ex boss. It feels like I was still at the HQ. I miss the working environment there. I went to a lot places in Sarawak went I was there.

Well, I need to go now, got few things to be done. See you around.

My sister

I argue with my sister during lunch hour. She was really angry with me. I was joking with her but then again maybe it was too much. She didn’t take her lunch.

Yeaah..maybe I was to much but I am worry about her. SPM just two days from now and she seems to be like nothing will happened. I don’t know whether she’s really studying or just pretending busy with her books.

I’m worry about her future. When she was at form two until form four at Kolej Abdillah, I was the one who taking care of her. I was the one who always visiting her, buying foods and all that. I really care about her. Furthermore, she was homesick real bad. I knew for the past four years studying there was like living in the hell. The school is not bad, one of the best in the state but t just that she always miss all of us.

Then when I finally offered the permanent post back to our hometown, I’ve to bring her too. No one will care about her there. My parent agreed and she was transfer to her new school in July 2004. Now, she is living in heaven. She can do whatever she wants. I don’t want her to be too much...too much relaxing...enjoying herself.

I hope that she will understand someday that education is the priority of ones life. Without it ones cannot go beyond his/her boundaries.

Love her..

Last nite I was really tired. I went to bed early. My wife sleeps quite late last nite. She disappointed coz she got no chance to really talk to me. I spend just a few hours with her and that’s not a quality time for both of us. Me and my brother paint part of our living room’s wall. That is why I was tired.

I spoke to her this morning. She’s okay and she ironed my shirt. I promise myself to spend more time with her this evening. I love her very much.

We faced a lot of difficult time before we got married. It’s not that easy to love somebody. That’s why I really appreciated our relationship. I met her few years back; my cousin introduced her to me. That time, I was single for about three years after my last relationship with my ex. It’s not easy to open up our heart to someone new but I have to. I must give myself a chance. So, when I first met her, I really like her. I fall in love with her. We see each other quite often, almost everyday after office hour.

She was the reason why I bought a car. I go to work by a motorcycle. A few months later I bought a second hand car, a green Iswara. I pick her up and sent her home with that car. She also taught me to drive in the city. Actually, I was not familiar to some of the street in the city.

We also sms and talk over the phone for hours. I still remember I have to pay RM800++ for my cell phone bill. Then I realized I should use pre paid to save some money.

My wife, she is taller than me, smarter than me. She can get along with my family members easily although she’s quiet type of person. Dia tak pernah merungut, suka memasak, seorang yang bertanggungjawab. Semua ahli keluarga saya jugak sayang pada dia. I’m lucky.

Tak sabar nak pulai and hug her to tell her that I love her so much.

The Project

I was playing with my younger sister Juju after lunch. She was crying coz my knee hit her nose. Auww… it’s hurt her! My wife tepaksa pujuk dia. Lepas sembuh kejap saya jugak jadi mangsa kanak-kanak riang ni.Seronok juga ada budak-budak kat rumah.

I can’t wait to start the painting work today. Around 3 pm I will go to town to buy a few brushes to do the job. I already ask my brother Chip to clean up the wall. It’s really hard to think of how is the new look for our living room. Everybody got their own good ideas. So, finally, we decided not to change the arrangement of the furniture at the living room.

I don’t know whether dad will help us this time. Last year he was helping us with some tiny things. But he is good in doing some of the job like wiring and fixing the furniture.

He was helping me to paint the doors. He chose the colour as well. It’s purple colour. I really like it as well as the others.

Well, now is the right time to start the project. Hope everybody in the house will help me.

Administrator or Entrepreneurship

Again, there’s lot of work to be done. Call my colleague to say Congrat. She’s still on raya leave. Our boss said that she’s very efficient in her work. Well, that’s good news. At least he appreciates her work as well our work.

Sometime I just wonder what if I involve in other sector rather than doing administrative work. Maybe I should try doing business but how? I don’t have any experience doing business. I studied business in the university but practically its difference.

My family members also don’t involve in business. My dad is a government servant and my mom is a housewife. But they also involve in agriculture planting paddy and pepper. It’s in a small scale.

I discuss this matter with my brother. He is a teacher. He set in his mind also about doing business but doesn’t have idea of how to get into it. Both of us decided not to join government sector until retire. Someday, we might be one of the successful entrepreneurship in the state.

Maybe we should try doing business of kedai runcit. If given chances we will try selling all kind of products to the local. Boleh ke buat? We never try so that we don’t know. Where to get the capital? How much consider enough? I knew that a few banks offer loans to SME. Maybe I should do some research then I can make my final decision.

Hopefully, I can be a business man.

Ngabang raya


Its 45 minutes past 5 pm. I’m still at the office. Got few things to do. Black out occurred a few hours ago…bout 15 minutes. Rakan lain semuanya dah balik. Tinggal aku dan seorang gi rakan kat sini.

Hari kat luar macam mauk ujan jak. Biasa lah petang-petang kat sini sik sah mun sik ujan. Harap malam ini takde black out.

Awal pagi tadi around jam 10.30 pagi situ, kita orang kat opis ni sempat lagi beraya kat rumah kawan sekerja kita. Lots of cakes, kari, rendang and also the famous laksa was served to us.

Yummy..those who never taste our famous laksa should come to Sarawak and get one. Available at all stalls / gerai all over Sarawak. The price is around RM1.50 – RM3.00 per bowl.

I wonder how they cook it. Ehmm, I always wanted to cook it but never know the recipe.

Rainy day and Kemalangan Maut

It was raining heavily last nite. Blackout occurred a few times. Even nak tonton tv pun tak selesa coz asyik “services currently not available”. Hopefully today is a sunny day.

On my way to office this morning, I was listening to Traxx FM. The DJ said that maybe the JPJ should give test in a different way to the driver before they issue driving license. Currently, kita diuji during a fine sunny day, and Mr DJ said that in other countries like UK and Australia, the drivers there given driving test during rain, at nite and even at the condition of slippery and wet road. This is done to test how the driver controls the situation in the safe way. Saya rasa ini satu idea yang baik untuk dicuba. Bagi mengurangkan jumlah kemalangan maut yang menakutkan di Negara kita.

Kita pun tau juak kan Ops Sikap 10 telah mencatakan jumlah kematian tertinggi dalam satu hari iaitu 29 orang. This is terrible! Menakutkan lah..saya kalau driving balik ke Kuching sentiasa rasa takut-takut. Takut kan lori trailer, bas , pacuan empat roda dan kereta kancil yang memecut laju.

Ni saya ada satu pengalaman mungkin lucu dan menakutkan diri saya when I was driving my dad’s car for the first time few years back. Kereta jenis Toyota yang lama tu.. I was on my way back home after sending my sister to school that sunny morning. And I was accompanied by my younger sister who is about 11 years old. When I reached the entrance of our home, I was driving agak laju sedikit dan membelok masuk ke dalam kawasan rumah.. Bannnggg!! The car hit the gate and it was collapsed. The impact was so strong but unbelievable the car only scratches kat bahagian depan. Sort of macam ada lubang lah tak jauh dari lampu. My mom rush out and she was shocked to see what happened. I was panic and my sister was screaming.

Until now, our gate was some kind of rosak lah..tak balance manakala tiang batu yang tumbang tu dah takde lagi sekarang. For more than a week, I was afraid to drive.

Lemai ti lembau

Petang tok asai lembau ka ngaga pengawa. Badan rasa lemah jak, mungkin kerana dan cuti lamak amat. Bila otak sudah direhatkan sekejap..membeku susah nak cair. Macam daging yang membeku di dalam peti ais bila dikeluarkan susah nak jadi lembut.

Rakan sekerja dah tekaung ngagau ngasoh mam kueh raya..emm makan kueh kek lagi. Lalu naiklah berat badan nanti. Macam mana lah nak kurus balik ni like seven years back. I was 52 kgs during that time and now I’m 74 kgs! I wonder if I can reduce it to 65 kgs. Can it be done?

Well, kena tunggu dan lihatlah..selalunye aku terpaksa mengalah kepada makanan yang best-best.

Hobi buat kek

Musim raya masih baru gik. I want to discuss about buat kuih raya ni. Kawan sama opis dengan saya ni..punya lah rajin buat kek. Jangan tekezut..lelaki..macho lagi. Tapi buat kek memang dah jadi sebahagian daripada hobi.

Dah setahun saya ngelala dia ni memang dah banyak jenis kek dia buat. Siap hantar rumah lagi buat sedekah. Kek cheese, kek lapis, kek lumut dan banyak lagi. Plus, biskut..pelbagai jenis.

Kami untunglah..dia rajin buat dan kami makan. Jadi tak sia-sia kami jadi kawan dia dapat makan kek. Ni dah dekat nak Krismas pulak, housemate dia dah siap beli buku resipi Rabiah Amit. Dia orang nak cuba buat. Mesti sedap punye.

This morning I mention to him about making money from his hobby. Buat kek, ambil tempahan then jual. Confirm laku punye..lagipun agi biak..agi bujang..nadai penanggul ko orang. This is the right time!

So, kena tunggu dan lihatlah..setakat mana jauh hobi buat kek ni dapat membuahkan hasil suatu hari nanti. Aku tetap sukong walau apapun.

Salam sejahtera. Selamat datang kepada anda yang sedang melayari blog saya ini. Semoga anda berada dalam keadaan ceria dan gembira. Pada pagi ini cuaca di luar masih lagi mendung..mauk ujan lah ia.

Let me intro myself...known as Bujang Astana. Dah lama menetap di sini dan ini lah kampung halaman saya.

Hari ini adalah hari pertama bekerja selepas cuti hari raya. Pada hari raya pertama, saya stand-by. Tetapi saya dan kawan-kawan sempat berhari raya di rumah kawan sekerja.

Sehari suntuk beraya sehingga keletihan. Lewat petang baru kami balik ke rumah masing-masing. Saya betul-betul keletihan sehingga terlelap seketika.

Hari raya kedua, saya dan adik lelaki saya memulakan perjalanan pergi ke Kuching menaiki kereta. Pagi itu hujan lebatnye..Stesen minyak Shell di bandar panjang juga que nye..semua orang membeli petrol mungkin akan berjalan jauh.

Perjalanan selama dua jam lebih memaksa saya dan adik untuk berenti kat Sg Tenggang. Ini merupakan tempat singgah kejap yang popular bagi kami..makan nasi..sedapnye..diteruskan perjalanan for another two hours lagi.

Sampai di Kuching hari dah sik ujan lagi. I call my wife so that dia sudah ready. Kami pun pergi ke pusat bandaraya Kuching..tak banyak keta, orang pun tak rami..ok juak. Parking senang.

Kami buat window soping until lewat petang. Dah tu hantar adik pegi rumah uncle di Batu 10. Dia dah lama tak jenguk our uncle. Oh ya..kami sempat beli cat baru untuk warnai ruang tamu rumah kami. We choose peach bouquet as a new colour! Last time, kita cat warna biru..tapi gelap lah our home. Hopefully warna baru ini nanti akan lebih ceria.

The next day..hari raya ketiga. Me, my wife and adik balik ke Betong. My parent in law pun heran juak coz saya stay semalam aja. Mesti balik juak coz ada dinner malam ya di rumah.

Kita tiga singgah lah di Serian..soping lagi kat H & L..tak cukup lak pegi lagi kat Everise. Lepas tu, kita plan to eat at one of the local kedai makan..pelanggan agak rami..then kita masuk dalam dan duduk..order drinks..then..alamak baunye!! Kedai ya bebau coz the toilet could be dirty..yakkk!! So, tak jadi oder makan terus cabut. Pegi makan pulak kat kedai muslim..punyelah mahal!! Tapi tak pe lah..

Lewat petang..kita sampai kat Betong. Misi seterusnye..memasak for dinner that nite.
